Hi Terry
Sorry for the delayed respons. My old e-mail address was still on this site. The new one is info@kronendalwine.co.za. I was honoured to have hosted the tasting and happy that you enjoyed it. May the wine taste even better at altitude and with good company. I'm proud to let you know that I've labelled the 2008 Mirari under the Kronendal label. Enjoy your break. Kind regards Magdaleen Kroon

Some weeks back my wife and I (together with the Bacchus Wine club) spent an unforgetable wine tasting afternoon out on the long patio. It goes without saying that the wines were unique, superb, and the experience made so much more interesting by your down-to-earth and friendly manner. I personally also found the story behind your cellar (and the toilet doors) so interesting!! We bought some wine that day, and I'm pleased to report that there are still a few bottle left. Some of those bottles are shortly to leave the foothills where they grew up, and will undertake their final journey to "The Big Hills". Friends and family are soon to be gathering in the Drakensberg, and while there, I will be presenting your Impromptu 2007 at a little family tasting we are planning, and telling them all a little bit about Kronendal. PS. Please advise when you get to bottle under the "Kronendal" label. Terry and Ownie Pearson

Langtafel Somer 2011

Lekker dag

What a jol! The cheese, wine, bread, olives, biltong and sushi gave us the ingredients for a feast that served a variety of tastes to enjoy with the wines, which were superb. Forest's music was the right style (if rather loud). Loved seeing children having fun too. Keep the format for next year but maybe suggest that people bring paper plates and their own knives. The wine farms that charged such a big entry fee made a tactical error. You guys had it right!
